It’s not entirely clear what Xander te West intends with this work, but it’s clear what effect the work has on its surroundings. Is anyone still working here? Is something unfinished? But the endless, sometimes jarring, rotation of the piece subtly suggests something else. As a modified 'objet trouvé', it broadens your perspective and raises the question: what in this space can be considered art anyway?
